Powerhouse launches initiative to support women re-entering the job market
Ahead of International Women’s Day, we’re proud to announce a new initiative to support local women looking to re-enter the job market. For the entire month of March, we will be offering free professional headshots to women in the Leeds area who are facing challenges in their career journey.

As a company that has long championed the advancement of women, Powerhouse has previously hosted events aimed at inspiring future female leaders and encouraging young women to pursue careers in creative industries. This year, the agency is expanding its commitment by providing a meaningful resource to empower women professionally.
“As someone who joined the Powerhouse team after speaking at one of their IWD events, this initiative truly resonates with me. I’m incredibly proud to be part of a business that sees real value in giving back,” said Rebecca Jones, Client Services Director at Powerhouse.
“We know that standing out in today’s job market can be challenging, and a great headshot can make all the difference. We hope to give women, who for whatever reason, are struggling to re-enter the job market, the confidence and professional image they need to take the next big step in their careers. While it may not be the ultimate solution to landing your dream job, it’s one small step towards building something bigger.”
The free headshots will be available to women who are actively looking for employment, whether returning from a career break or navigating other challenges. Participants can use their professional photo for job applications, interviews, and/or across their social channels.
The headshots will be captured at Powerhouse’s studios by our in-house photographers.
