Supportive, diplomatic, and a motivator. A real people’s person!
Debbie qualified in coaching and has experience in leading and managing teams. Her passion to see people reach their potential comes from working in different sectors including Recruitment, Higher Education, and now Creative. Whatever industry she’s been in, people are consistent in that they all have dreams, ambitions, and day to day challenges. Helping people achieve and realise their ambitions is hands down what she loves the most about her job.
One thing Debbie is particularly proud of is having taken advantage of the Govt KickStart scheme and recruiting six young, talented people to give them work experience, and share valuable knowledge with. Still having two of them working with us permanently is extremely rewarding. Outside of Powerhouse, she’s also an Enterprise Adviser at our local secondary school, where she supports their work to engage with employers to help students make career decisions.
When she isn’t helping others fulfil their dreams… she’s most likely in a yoga class!
